When The King Visited His Kingdom

Just before Mardi Gras, our Peniston Campus was honored with a visit by King Zulu 2016, Jay H. Banks. King Zulu presented each child with a Zulu coconut and treated each class to king cake!

The children were so excited to see the King, whose home they pass every day on their walks as they exchange greetings and bows! He shared with them about his reign as Zulu, as well as the special symbols he selected to be placed in the crown he designed.

Everyone was so honored to have had King Zulu visit! And it definitely put them all in the Mardi Gras Spirit.
